If Music be the Food of Love …..Teaser before boyfriend No. 25 – 28

I achieved this badge for working my way up the scale as an #Essex band groupie.

Below are the lyrics to one of #Samantha Fox’s hits of the 80’s.  I love the way she uses Shakespeare to demonstrate deeper meaning.  This hit the spot for me whilst writing my next chapter which is all about our protagonist’s groupie days and STD’s.  You will notice, when published, it is written in a song type poetry kind of a style.  I had to steer clear of unconsciously plagiarizing Ms Fox and/or others.

“If music be the food of love, then play on
Play on, play on
Play on, play on

If music be the food of love, then baby play on, play on
Let the heavens celebrate our love
And baby, play on, play on

To be or not to be, it doesn’t matter much to me
(that’s right)
Wherefore art thou my Romeo, the only boy I want to know
He’s mine (he’s mine)”
